How can we continue the work that the four girls have started in their communities?
In Punjab (India) we will hold screenings in the farming communities before the start of the next burning season (October and November 2021) and have farmers commit to put a stop to this harmful practice.
In Queensland (Australia) we want to hold screenings in and around the mining communities and Great Barrier Reef tourism spots to engage the audience in discussions and contribute to closing the gap between climate change deniers and believers.
In Senegal we want to raise donations for the “1 Million water tanks for the Sahel Zone” program to help more communities to get access to a sustainable water source.
In Java, Indonesia our partner NGO ECOTON with the help of AZWI will host an event with Indonesian government officials about the import of plastic waste and discuss possible solutions that will be presented by our Indonesian protagonist and activist Nina at the climate summit COP26 in Glasgow.
